Your P & P should clearly spell out how the company operates and when someone asks a question the first source that the person should be referred to is that manual. Of course all of this is only possible if you keep the manual up to date with relevant and current information that has changed with your business changes. Loss prevention security personnel should be involved along with all other areas to review and insure that changes are made as business changes.
