We have all been there. I am referring to those times that we go to a store just needing one or two last minute items, and end up getting stuck in a ridiculously long line with an even longer wait. When it came to deterring shoplifters, your bottle security can’t be soft. These are the times that you need to use an iron fist, or at least having a steel grip for your bottle security. It was a Friday night and business was booming. There were people coming in to party and have a good time, the alcohol was being sold, and amazing profit was being made. All seemed like a successful Friday night in the bar, except for one minor detail – this was not a bar. This was happening in a liquor store with no bottle security.

Beautiful weather is great for traveling. I love a great road trip that takes me to a picturesque, off the beaten path, place. Usually, I see signs for the local wineries along the way. Depending on the day’s agenda, we try to stop and support these local businesses. I have to take note that most of them do not use EASy Bottle bottle locks.

I recently came across an bottle security and theft of alcohol. Well, this one was had nothing to do with alcohol or liquor bottle security.

This owner had been smart enough to use bottle locks for his bottle security- specifically the Alpha Security EASy Bottle. His inventory was right in line where it needed to be, at least in the alcohol department. He was having an issue with his mixers.

I was having a conversation with the bar owner that I was working for. He was expressing his frustration with one of the managers we had. He said, “It’s business, it’s not a secret!” I think that was my first clue that we needed more liquor bottle security in our bar.
