What is it? – Wardrobing Tags

There is a fair amount of internet traffic all circulating around wardrobing tags. These are the garment tags that are now being made famous by the high-end retailer Nordstrom’s.

Wardrobing tags have actually been around for a while; they just haven’t seen much press until now.

When a customer buys an item of clothing that they have every intention of wearing to an event and then return it, it is called wardrobing. This is different than a customer who buys an item and tries it on at home, instead of in a dressing room at the store. The customer might still return the item, but they have not worn it to an event or for an extended period of time.
