I was asked recently to do a consultation for a liquor store. They were showing all  the typical signs of theft. Let’s start with the basics, refunded merchandise does not cause inventory shrink. If someone stole the merchandise and then refunded it, it is generally called a fraudulent refund. Fraudulent refunds are just as problematic as shoplifting, especially when you are lacking bottle security.

We have all been there. I am referring to those times that we go to a store just needing one or two last minute items, and end up getting stuck in a ridiculously long line with an even longer wait.
