For those who live in the great state of Georgia (go Dawgs!!) you may be aware that many municipalities recently voted on selling alcohol on Sunday’s. While this is good for consumers who may have run out of alcohol on Saturday and need a refill, it causes many issues for stores that sell alcohol. For one, it means being open and having to staff the store. That, in and of itself, is an added cost. Another issue is it now provides just one more day for shoplifters to target your product.
While I can’t help with the fact that package store owners now don’t get Sunday’s off, I can provide tips for those pesky shoplifters. “EASy bottle” bottle locks by Alpha security are a great asset to provide much needed liquor bottle security.
